Well that means we are screwed for ever getting an NBA team. fucking A. No way they would ever make another NBA team 5 hours away from OKC. I wonder what stupid name they will come up with.

I too wish KC had gotten it. I don't want the NBA down here. When the Hornets were here they dominated the sports pages to the extent I quit buying the Oklahoman. I don't think OKC can support the NBA either. They are already on TV asking Tulsans to support them. Tulsa may help but it is a 100 mile trip to OKC

Several months ago the Star reported the if the Sonics move the NBA would reward Seattle an expansion team (but probably not until 2010). If Seattle is awarded an expansion team a 2nd city would also get a franchise and KC would be a strong candidate.
