Nobody cares about a LB with broken hand/finger, won't even effect the performance. However, Chiefs Linebacker Shituation = FAIL.

So who starts the next preseason game for Williams.

How's Donnie doing?

I think our LB situation is better than last year, but it will still be an area we need to address in the next draft.

In Kansas City, linebacker Demorrio Williams has a broken hand. He is expected to be ready for the season opener at New England on Sept. 7. The team has been pleased with Williams' progress so far this offseason.

Bob Gretz

Added to the injury report was LB Demorrio Williams with a finger injury.

Blob said in his 8/19 practice report that he is still sidelined.

I'm getting that vibe too. The man is 35. I had hoped we would get a couple good years out of him. From what I read it sounds like he was a pretty good guy to have mentor the younguns.

Agreed.

I wonder how good Pat Thomas might be as a OLB if the Chiefs do decide to get a 1st round MLB (The dude from USC, his name escapes me as of the moment)

However, if Pat Thomas plays lights out this season, then I'd imagine the Chiefs will have to find another OLB for Edwards, but also the fact that Williams for some reason, keeps getting silly injuries and keeping him out of practices.

That's the one. I feel that he'll have a productive NFL career than Laurinaitis, but that's just my opinion.
