I guess what i was trying to say was that when he signed with the Chiefs and a lot of fans were excited. having watched him in Miami, I figured that most of the fans would be disappointed in his results. I should be more clear. When I said "quick-fix," I meant a FA who signs with the intention of only playing for a team for 1-2 years. I was thinking Kyle Turley. Twice. Willie Roaf was a high dollar FA acquisition with a big multi-year contract.

Actually, he was acquired in a trade, and I don't think anyone expected to get more than a couple of years out of here.
