I don't know. Complex, fancy drink recipes are kind of overkill when you're drinking alone. Just buy some cheap wine, unscrew the lid, and guzzle. It's best if it drips down your chin onto your belly.

Try a gin Martini. Since it may be your 1st, splurge a little on Bombay Sapphire. Stick a glass in the freezer for 30 minutes or so and let it get nice and cold. Doesn't need to be a martini glass, but they're nice to have around so you may want to get a couple for future use. If you don't have a shaker, put ice and gin in a glass, cover the top of the glass with something and shake vigorously. Pour gin into your nice cold glass and enjoy. If you have a couple of fat olives stick a toothpick in them and put them in the drink as well. It's refreshing and quick.
