Herm was hired because he was Carl's buddy and Peterson didn't want any kind of power struggle like he experiences with Marty Shottenheimer.

once again ....... winning was not the top priority :banghead:

has winning EVER been the top priority with this assclown?!?

For the record I think familiarity and not rocking the proverbial boat of "cushy job, low expectations" carries much truth in all hiring under Carl.

Maybe that's the game he talks about winning....how to make as much money as you can by doing as little as you can.

Was Peterson our GM from 91-95? I know he's been with the organization for awhile, but wasn't sure just how long.

Oh good lord....just shoot me now.

Actually, heres an idea: Instead of rehashing his sad history with the Chiefs, try focusing on his early history like UCLA, his history with DV, the Eagles and USFL.

Is he a senior this year? I was thinking he was just a junior.

chiefs1okie 09-18-2008 05:50 PM

Not even a Jr. played as a true freshman last year and is in his soph. year at OU. Will not be eligible for NFL draft till 2010 (if he if he declares after his jr. yr.)
