Agree. I do think Mizzou will win, but I'd be shocked if we won by anything close to 35 points like last year. Lincoln is a very tough place to play, which is why we haven't won there since 1978. Also, Nebraska will be ready for us and will not want to get embarrassed again.

My guess is a 38-28 Mizzou win.

Well damn,my sis-in-law has a 50th birthday party that night that I'm playing DJ,add to that the party is in Kansas and I'll be the ONLY Mizzou fan there.

My ray of hope relates to how Pelini defensed Mizzou in 2003. But this year's Mizzou team is much more equipped offensively and defensively.

Erm, Mizzou hung 41 on us that year too.

I guess I was thinking about 2002 and 2004. Neither one was Pelini. So now I don't know what my ray of hope is.

Pelini coached the defense that allowed MU to turn the tide. I was at that game and appreciated the gesture.

Missouri hasn't had a team like this years team and Nebraska has not been this bad very often. So yes we haven't won there since 1978 but over that timespan Missouri was a pretty bad team for the most part and Nebraska was a powerhouse. Big difference this year.

And if they play defense like they did last weekend? Last weekend was their best defensive showing so far this year. 3 fumbles by the offense and a kick return for a touchdown was what allowed Buffalo to stay in the game for a while. Of course you would actually have to have followed the game to know that instead of just looking at the score.

I love night games...atmosphere just takes another hike up....should be a great game.

If mizzou wins this game they'll run the table.

We have to play Texas on the road. Texas is FAR TOUGHER than Nebraska.

If Missouri loses to Nebraska, we'll just know we're frauds right off the bat.

It'll be a big monkey off our back to be sure, but it definitely is not the most challenging game. That would be Texas.
