If MU stops the run, this game will be decided no less than 20 pts IMO. If not it could become close.

MU has proven that TOP means very little to them. Score on a 6 minute drive and Missouri will match that score right away. And Missouri has proven they are not just a passing team. With Washington and Jackson in the backfield we can grind it out in the run game if we want to.

But I still think we can stop the run since so far that is the strength of this defense.

watching cbs and the halftime guys just said "sorry poor MU not enough "style points" to be NO.1" WTF?? if MU beat OSU handily then how do they at least not warrant consideration? alabama isnt even PLAYING this week and could jump MU in the coaches poll???

If there's anything Mizzou does (or should) have, it's "style points". Have they seen this offense?

That said... I'd be fine with #2. Just gotta keep winning.

that's why i was like WTF??? but hey if Mu wins next week there's no denying them that spot

I don't see OSU staying in this game unless Mizzou helps them out via turnovers. OSU will put up points but they can't stop Mizzou. Mizzou will have to stop themselves. Hopefully, Mizzou won't look ahead to next week and we will get another marquee match up.

Tonights game should be a lot of fun.

I can't wait!

Is everyone wearing their GOLD today?

tonight is the game where MU's pass d will either show up, or they will show that MU has no shot at the NC. IMO

Maybe our defense isn't so bad afterall after seeing Nebraska put up 31 points @ Texas Tech with OT still likely ahead. 10 points given up by our first string defense is looking pretty damn good right about now.

I don't think Mizzou's D is bad at all. They just pale in comparison to the O.

Oh I don't either, I just think seeing Nebraska keep up with Texas Tech will make our defense look better in the eyes of those around the nation.

Considering guys like William Moore, Sean Weatherspoon, and Ziggy Hood all look to have a future in the NFL and we have quite a few other talented college defenders I think we have too much talent to not have a solid defense. With how fast we score and with us often playing soft zone coverage we are going to give up some yards but we seem to do fine keeping teams out of the endzone for the most part.

I hope I can see this game in Denver.

Do your job, ESPN.
