Good god, no. Carl must go and all of his front office cronies with him. The new GM can make the correct call regarding Herm and the coaching staff (which anyone can see is to kick him to the curb).
|
Are you making a run at the "Dumb question of the year : 2008" award?
|
can someone please start a game thread for me? the giants are imploding lol
|
To the question, an emphatic no.
But as to drafting a good QB, I wish Ryan continued success. Perhaps his performance will help convince whoever is in charge of next year's draft that you have to take a potential franchise QB when presented with the opportunity. Doesn't mean it will work out but it's a chance you have to take. |

Is that a for reals question? |
Carl and Herm, please bend over.
|
No ****ign way...
these two clowns are the biggest jokes in football.. Whomever supported Herm should be ****ed with a hot iron rod! |
Wait....what?
A second chance? WE'RE IN YEAR 20 OF THE 5 YEAR PLAN! I'd say year 12, 13, 14, et al. constituted any number of second chances. !@#$ this front office. Get them the hell out of here. |
I believe we drafted a 'decent' quarterback... a Matt Ryan doesn't come along every draft. He'd be decent-er if he (well, was on the field) didn't have a HC that played scared, had an original gameplan every once in a while, had a decent offensive line, had any sort of running game, had better receivers...
Seeing what Miami has done makes me want to get started cleaning this crap up ASAP. Tonight, if possible. |
Not only no, but **** no!
|
Carl's do overs are.... have all been done over too many times. from year 10 on.
Herm needs to be given an ultimatem from Clark.... he can't be watching this a be happy come 12/29/2008..... we will see if he has any Kahonies. .... |

I think Herm's system is destined to fail no matter how many chances he gets. He has yet to show that he can take a program to the next level. He took over a team in New York that was two years removed from getting to the conference championship and did well for awhile. He never won more than 10 games in a season. He never got further than the divisional round of the playoffs. He left them in total chaos. They were happy to trade him away. Its only a miracle he wasn't fired before KC expressed an interest.
He took over in KC and got to the playoffs despite the team not having as many wins as the year before. He took the team and pounded it into a lump of clay but forgot to form it into anything. I have to laugh at anyone who compares him to Tony Dungy. Tony at least won in Tampa, just couldn't win the big one. Tony Dungy...more like Tony Danza. |

Good point. Does Carl deserve a 21st chance next year? How about a 21st chance? Because maybe he's been learning a little bit every year, and the 21st year is the year that it all comes together. |
