Meh. To mirror what all of the players and coaches say, "It's a business." Tony wanted what was best for him prior to the trade deadline. Hard to blame him for that.

I sometimes wish there was an allegiance deadline for the fans. Like, by 4:00pm today I had to switch my allegiance to another team or stick with the Chiefs for the rest of the year.

I would think that knowing they aren't going to win would be more of a distraction than TG saying what all of them were thinking. I doubt any of them were shocked or distracted by any of it.

Did you listen to Brodie Crolye on 810 this morning? He was shocked and distracted.

i think Herm is a nitwit and a high school coach at best, but I understand him here.

a player and the GM made a big mess that he's got to coach through. it's a big distraction and his job is depending on it. he doesn't want to deal with it. I wouldn't either.

No I missed it but, he may have just been scared and disoriented.

It sucks the HC has to deal with the media on an issue that the GM should be handling.

Big surprise. A tight end is an inexperienced quarterback's best target.

A Tony Gonzalez is a an inexperienced quarterback's dream come true.

Of course he was shocked and distracted.

Lay off guys, Herm is a busy man. He said himself in the PC. He has more important things to think about, like figuring out how to get a FIRST DOWN on the Titans.....................true ****ing story

Media is lucky to get a press conf.

I wonder if anyone would have felt better about it if he would have said trying to win or even score? Has he lowered his own expectations that far??

He can't handle Carl, he can't handle Tony, he can't handle Larry. He went to the press conference and threw a little hissy fit because his overpaid ass can't handle a bunch of other overpaid asses. All of whom aren't getting the job done.

Herm can't handle the egos.

so does this mean you have left the Hermines now?

It's funny how you've come full circle against Herm. WTF took ya so long and what changed your mind?
