People have been comparing Bradford to Stafford the last couple months. What I want to know is how Bradford compares to Ryan and Flacco. Same for Stafford too.

Once his people start talking with the NFL afficianados, they'll declare-they just want the reassurance they are making the right decision and get the feedback straight from the horse's mouths.

Stafford compares to Carson Palmer and Bradford compares to Eli Manning.

You know what could be real funny if the Lions drafted Stafford then KC drafts Bradford and then the two teams trade players because Stafford in noway shape of form wants to play for the Lions.

I really like Stafford, but I think he goes after Bradford.

I'm saying this because Stafford has bigtime connections to the KC Chiefs that have been confirmed in a past article.

If you look at the history of QB's that have won the Heisman only 1 in the last 20 years + has been worth anything and that was Carson Palmer.

History is against him

Stryker 12-24-2008 04:41 PM

He did win the Hiesman so that in itself may make him a bust. A curse like the Madden cover.

I'm kidding of course. It would make the draft more interesting though. We will get a good look at him during the BCS National Championship game.

Look at this great list of QB's that have won the Heisman in the last 20 yrs.

1993 - Charlie Ward
1996 - Danny Wuerffel
2000 - Chris Weinke
2001 - Eric Crouch
2002 - Carson Palmer
2003 - Jason White

I'm not surprised Ryan is playing well. I am surprised he is playing this well so soon.

System QBs' are something to be concerned with.

Therefore you know we will draft him.

Yeah, I'm so glad we don't have a spread system QB like Roethlisberger or Brees

I love how you can state your case with such authority, when the fact remains that no one knows if he will be a success.

The arrogance by posters on this board is comical sometimes. I should bump some threads from last year when 90% of the board said I was crazy for thinking Matt Ryan would be a great QB.

I think we've delved into paralysis by over analysis. People were nervous about Matt Ryan, but look at how good he is.

I'd prefer Stafford, but it isn't hard to imagine both he and Bradford having successful NFL careers.

I don't buy into a the hype of luck-he can either play or he can't. The Heisman phenomenon is an oddity, but far from being the definitive say on whether or not a player can or cannot play.
