People want to bust the bank on the guy when the Chiefs just used a top 5 draft pick on the guy they could develop into their own Haynesworth?

ya right. tell that to a OC in the nfl.

I don't need to, I've seen it first hand. He was an exceptional player, then he got caught for 'roids and hasn't been the same since. He's also coming off a major injury.

Dorsey will never be a NOSE Tackle, he's an UNDERTACKLE. We need the mammoth nose tackle to shore up the D-line, and give Dorsey the support he needs to become a dominant DT.

You'd still need a pass rushing DE.

I never want Shawne Merriman on this team. I would be happy when he made a tackle, but I would hate having someone with such bad character to be a Chief. LJ has his problems, but he's never cheated. He just shows those bitches who's boss.

Isn't a nose tackle only in the 3-4? Or do you call the left DT a nose tackle too.... I'm confused!

It's the over and under tackles in the 4-3. The over can be referred to as the nose tackle. The term Nose tackle is typically used for a 3-4, but it can also be used to to indicate the bigger of the two tackles, which is why I used it in this case.

Then at worst you have Ted Washington, who wasn't a bad player in his own right.

Haynesworth is worth the big money deal, IMO.

He and Dorsey would be a force in the middle.

2 different kind of players, and Dorsey would benefit greatly with guy like Haynesworth next to him.

Suggs. We have the cap space.

So Tank is our over tackle on our team. Just a space eater/run stuffer, right?

Well, Herm got a "C" this year, so he's average.

Even in a joking tone, it's difficult to utter that sentence.

IMO, you don't make a space eater the highest paid player at DT.
