How do you know they didn't interview them? Since Clark started his search everything has been done in complete silence and no leaks. Pioli is the doing the same thing.

So your saying that all other teams in the NFL are going to be quiet as the Chefs?

IF Haley was interviewed by KC, the AZ media would of let someone know about it....

Pioli also seems to be as paranoid as the guy he used to work for in New England - Bill Belichick. The Kansas City Star recently sent a writer to Pioli's hometown to do a harmless Scott's-roots feature. When Pioli found out, he called former teammates, classmates and neighbors and instructed them not to speak to the reporter. Beautiful.

This guy is the stuff that message board legends are made of.

running a productive offense with all the talent his has in Arizona is NOT a big accomplishment imo.

Doesn't matter to me. I'm going to trust Pioli on his coaches pick. He worked for two years with the guy. In my field I can tell after talking with soemone for 5 mintues whether they know how to do their job, what their ideas are like and how much depth of knowledge they have. I'm sure Pioli had many conversations with the guy over those 2 years.

If Pioli says he's the man. thats good enough for me.

We would have to ask for permission from either the Steelers or Cardinals to interview them. Coaches out of work you don't need permission and they can slip through the cracks unseen. It has been reported by many that the Chiefs did not interview either of the two top coordinators from the Super Bowl teams. Lastly Herm is still the HC and by league rules we couldn't interview Haley until Herm was gone.

Really? So how did we interview/tamper with Herm while DV was still the coach in KC? OR DV hired when Gun was still here...

He's probably killed some people.

Well Clark interviewed about 10+ NFL execs when he was looking for a GM and no one said thing.

Good luck with that... Especially with all the media attention superbowl teams garner...

Pittsburg media would be eating it up, trying to stir up doubt in AZ fans and players that their OC is good as gone, with his mind on his new position and not the game...

The reporter is going to be bagged and clubbed "V for Vendetta" style.

Not me.

If Pioli says that Donnie Edwards is the man, I'll give him deference. He's been a great player personnel man and has a strong resume there.

When it comes to picking a coach, he's never done it or anything closely resembling it.

I disagree completely with the idea of Haley as our HC. Pioli's time as BB's right hand man and player procurement guy does nothing to assuage that angst.

welllll get use to it. Pioli is the decider not you.

I'm not saying Haley is the man. Just thats its Pioli's decision to make. If you don't trust that why hire him in the first place?
