Wouldn't it be 3-13?

Each team in a division splits all divisional games and loses the rest?

Then tiebreakers would determine who made it.

wouldn't it be possible to do it at 0-10-6
All divinisional games end in a tie?

odds would have to be astronomical. That's, what, 24 tie games in a single season?

Two ties are the same as a win and a loss, so basically 3-13, 2-12-2, 1-11-4, and 0-10-6 are all the same record as far as playoffs go.

Chiefless has it, imo. Percentage wise, theoretically, 0-10-6

Winning % 0.0

All division games end in tie. All teams in division lose everything else. One team in division gets division title on a tiebreaker, without a single win.

Cheers, BostonTim

Except the NFL considers W-L-T percentage, where a tie counts the same as half-a-win and half-a-loss .

3/16 = 0.5*6/16

In this senario what would be the deciding tie-breaker? Coin flip between all four teams?

Take a look at the Chargers' and Broncos' opponents next year, and that may give you the answer. Our whole division got hosed.

I can't see Denver and San Diego winning more than nine or 10 games next season.

First applicable tiebreaker would be strength of schedule.

Then you go to tiebreakers.

You could also have every team go : 1-11-4

That still amounts to 3 wins doofus-head.

We'd probably set a record for the worst possible SOS for a division.

I think a win against Washington is realistic. The Redskins are chokers and got beat by the Bengals this past season.
