Why do that when the Jets can easily just trade for Sage Rosenfels or Ryan Fitzpatrick?

ROFL

Did this dude come over from Dumbass Illustrated?

AustinChief 02-11-2009 05:36 PM

duh, this is doable...

they just need to give STL their 1,2,3 (and extra 3rd from N.O) and 4th picks THIS year and their 1,2,3,4 next year!

Easy!

What team wouldn't want the ease of only worrying about signing draft pick in the 5-7th rounds two years in a row!

No...but they do have this awesome discussion going on.

The Jets don't have a 3rd but have 2 4ths.

Although, in an effort to circumvent the nefarious New York Jets from getting our QB of the future, perhaps we could swap picks with the St. Louis Rams, giving them Tony Gonzalez or Larry Johnson for the swap...

Just a thought.

Damn, I thought there were some questionable IQs from some of the posters on here, but that doesn't even compare to some of those posts!

ChiefRon 02-11-2009 05:45 PM

OMG, there are folks over there lobbying to sign Jeff Garcia...

Their ENTIRE DRAFT is worth less than 1500 points.

Hell, I'm an idiot. I did the math wrong.

The Rams pick at #2 is worth 2600.

The Jets could give up their entire draft and STILL be short 900 points, or the equivalent to the 18th overall pick.

You should quit thinking. You're not very good at it.

The patriot way was about value. Neither stafford or sanchez is worth the third pick in the draft. Pioli will trade down. He knows how to draft. He's made a living on third and fourth round picks
So nobody panic if draft day isn't sexy. It never was in new england. Better to fill lots of needs with a drafter who knows what he's doing and sign a garcia at qb for now

Jesus god.

Just now was the first time I've ventured over to WPI forums.

Holy shit. Deliverance comes to mind.

With Favre retiring...again...you know the Jets are going to make a move, unless they are happy with potentially drafting Freeman at #17, but I doubt that.

So, I hope that all the Sanchez/Stafford die-hards are prepping for the inevitable doom and gloom that is going to happen here in the next couple of months.

It is kind of fun to think about those off the wall trades. But there have been countless points made on this forum about how it is almost IMPOSSIBLE to trade out of the third spot.

I know, I can't believe some of the things they're suggesting.

How about the guy that would LOVE to draft Monroe, move Albert to LG, move waters to C or RG, and sign Vernon Carey for RT...

JFC!
