OR... if both are hot, which one is showing more thong from her scrubs.

I can tell you right now, that the one chewing the other out was a huge big bertha b*tch. The charge nurses always are. They've been on that floor for 16 years, and no one knows better than them!

Actually the one who told her she is responsible for all the patients when it comes to an alarm is the charge nurse and she looks kinda butch, but not overweight. The one who went down the charge nurses throat is a CNA and she is about 5'2 and weighs about 110 pounds.

I do agree with the charge, when its a bed alarm going off whether its your patient or not your suppose to go. Thats why I really don't see what pissed the CNA off, she has only been doing this for about 4 months and you'd think she would appreciate any help in any way she could get.

I think as for the other part I am probably the only one here who wears thongs with their scrubs. I guess, I don't actually know that for sure.

Any job where there's a bunch of women there's going to be problems like this.

lazepoo 02-19-2009 12:31 AM

If the charge nurse was calling people out in front of everyone for not answering the light or whatever, it's not surprising that someone bit back. It happens whenever you're criticizing the way someone does their job, and that gets magnified whenever you call said people out in a public forum.

I don't think it was criticizing as much as letting her know something that is very important that she should know by now, and the charge wasn't mean when she said it that is why I don't know why the CNA became so mad.

eh, who knows?

Menstrual cycle? (It's the reason why women should never be judges.)

So, seriously, what's the problem here? Somebody got a little pissy at work because a more experienced person was trying to help a 4 monther out? There's got to be much better stories to tell than this from a hospital. How about the time the fifth year res got into the morphine? Or the time that a couple of RN's from physical therapy got caught at 3 am in the hot tub naked? Something of quality.

Would this be as unprofessional as shitting in another persons gym bag?

Someone has a point with the women, how much I hate to say it. I work with nothing but women twice my age, and sometimes I feel like just going insane. I mean, they're not even hot, so there's NO upside. :-) At least ONE other male comrade to chill out with...

Also in an intense setting like a hospital, tempers flare. The key is to get over it fast. I hope this CNA apologizes, and I also hope the charge nurse apologizes. Cause its not about who's right or wrong, its about getting the job done as accurately and quickly as possible.

The RN's here isn't that attractive so even if I had a story of 2 of them in a hot tub it probably still wouldn't turn you on.

I don't spend a lot of time in medical facilities, but about 95% of the nurses I've run into since I moved to KC outweigh me. And I'm not a small guy.

In all honesty, and quite contrary to what the tv shows, nursing is a hard, shitty job. That's not necessarily the occupation that underwear models usually look for. I mean, would you rather be out gold digging, or giving an 83 year old dude who just came out of abdominal surgery a sponge bath and change his colostomy bag at 3 in the morning? I'm not saying that hot people aren't in such a field, because I hate to stereotype and say that all hotts are shallow, absent minded nincompoops. I'm sure that there are some sexy, attractive people who are actually hard working, smart dedicated people in difficult fields of employment. Hell, just look at my state's recent Miss Utah. She's a nurse who was in the Army. There's two crap jobs rolled into one.
