The only guy I could compare Maybin too is Julian Peterson if Julian Peterson caught aids and lost a bunch of weight.

I bet McDouche has this picture in his office to wack off to. I swear he pimps Maybin a ton.

Mecca 02-19-2009 02:29 AM

This doesn't even factor in that Maybin literally played 1 year and has no pass rush moves at all, his pass rush move is to speed rush around the OT that's all he does.

Maybin is literally one of the rawest things I have ever seen.

It could feasibly be the result of a workout regimen designed around boosting his combine and workout numbers.

Even though the #1 question about him is his size and weight?

KCCHIEFS27 02-19-2009 02:49 AM

He just looks small compared to those HUGE guys next to him..actually, he looks like a Spartan warrior and those guys are the type you did not want to mess around with..

Same height.

This is what 30 extra lbs of muscle would look like:

And baseball thought that they had a 'roid problem...

They'll look at his frame more than his weight. Strength (reps) will count for something, too. He's what, 6'3 or 6'4. He's only got to get into the 260-265 range for playing weight, assuming he's going to a 3-4 team. Just needs to switch his roid package from the Orton blend to the Merriman cocktail.

I'd be more worried about his experience, similar to how I feel about Sanchez. Not a whole lot of film to look at. He's a high-risk/high-reward gamble regardless of what he weighs in as next week. One that I doubt I'd take in the first 20 picks of the draft. You're drafting him for what he'll be in 2011 or 2012.

Give me Everette Brown if we're going that route.

Some people have Brown dropping because they don't think he's as big as he's listed at.

Fortunately we have a combine to stop all the guessing.

I think it was Mayock but I'm not sure went into a huge rant, I know Mayock doesn't like him they were like..

"This guy is listed at 6'4 250, he's 6'1 220" which is pretty laughable seeing as he was listed heavier than 220 as a high school recruit.

Maybin may end up being the best player in the long run, but I don't see how you can put anybody (including Orakpo, regardless of his awards) ahead of Brown based on actual play.

AustinChief 02-19-2009 03:15 AM

Do not want.

His arms look tiny (framwise) for someone thats supposed to be a DE.

I think most people are projecting him as a rushbacker.
