My point is that is the old way of thinking and should no longer apply because we have a totally different regime in charge that wants to win championships not just fill the stadium or being content with being average. |

if frankie posted "relax" in here it would make my day

Yep. It only makes sense at this point to assume Pioli is competent, which means bitching about his draft picks would make you and your theories of optimal drafting look a little foolish.

I'll very glady take 8-8 or 9-7 in '09 because it means the Chiefs did a terrific job in the offseason in all phases; management, coaching, draft, free agency and the emergence of their young players to the point where they can now learn to win games.
An 8-8 or 9-7 season this year puts the Chiefs MUCH closer to contending for a Super Bowl Championship than another 5 win or less season. |
I'm a little hesitant that we *might* be switching to a 3-4. Mostly due to the Dorsey issue.
Other than that, I'm on board for everything. I trust Pioli and I'm very impressed with Clark Hunt thus far. I'm excited to be a Chiefs fan right now. |

At the same time, I think people are blindly putting faith in Pioli and Haley simply because it's something different. Right now I'm very hesitant to say we're definitely on the right track simply because different people are in charge.
As a wise man once said, better than bad != good. I have a feeling that if we come out flat, and it becomes clear that we won't be Superbowl contenders within a season of new management, that people are going to be up in arms as to how we could still suck. I don't think there's any reason to relax now...... |

Wouldn't that be a nice improvement over the last 2 years? :D It would be a very good start to turning the team around. |
That's even more reason to be nervous
we don't know where he is he could be anywhere -ANYWHERE |
