You are correct Sir. The way for it to work would be to make a "Development league" and work with the NFL. There are many diamonds in the rough that never get a chance in the NFL and this would give them an opportunity to get noticed on the professional level. One thing that I see happening though, the new league will try to land top players by allowing them to play straight out of high school and not having to go to college.

I think they are predicting what I am predicting. Labor troubles. I think the nfl is getting ready to blow up internally.

That list really emphasizes how weird it is that L.A. doesn't have a team.

For my money, nothing beats the UIF for Spring Football fix. The Omaha Beef are ready to kick some ass this year. Season starts up for us on March 20th against the Wichita Wild.

Seriously, the league just expanded to 19 teams, 4 divisions and 2 conferences. I suspect the UIF will be around MUCH longer than the UFL...which sounds like a joke. Granted, it's a different type of football, but it's DAMN GOOD football.

I might be a bit biased, since I'm the gameday PA announcer for the Beef, but seriously, its good stuff. Check out the league and see if there is a team in your area:
