Just like that source close to Brian Waters.

It seems like there is at least one story a month about how he wants out..

Doesn't sound like it.

But if that's how he feels, he should be telling Pioli that... and not yapping to the media.

Seems to me that he wants out, but this is his version of damage control. I think he does value his image, above all else. He wants that last shot... but he doesn't want the entire Chiefs fan base hating him, either.

Of course he wants out.

He's only gone to the media 3-4 times in the past 18 months to say so.

Grant his ass his wish.

Jason Taylor style.

(Meh, I'm not sure I mean that... I might. Give me some time.)

Clark qualified his statement....the Chiefs won't be shopping Tony--doesn't mean they won't listen to a reasonable proposal by someone. I think it would have to be a SB contender, that was willing to give at least a 3rd rounder--and after TG's second half last year, more likely a 2nd rounder. TG has 2-3 good years left....and could be the difference for a team like the Giants, the Patriots, the Jets, the Vikings, or maybe even someplace like Tennesee or Arizona.

:hmmm:

They wont get a 2nd for him ever.

They did get offered a 3rd last year but Carl couldnt let his baby leave the nest and backed out.

Uh, seems to me, that's not what he's doing at all.....Chiefs are rebuilding, he doesn't have much time..... would like to ACTUALLY experience a playoff win...let alone being in the big one.... let alone winning it.

He's not being a whiny bitch , he''s proved himself...IMO....it's not his fault that his mentor (CeePee) gave him untold amounts of money that would guarentee he finished his career as a Chief...and he graciously accepted...

Just two sides of the story, and I guess we'll see what the new GM decides, I myself would get what I could for him....JMHO.

Id take a 3rd in a second.

Pioli Zombie 03-24-2009 08:52 PM

If the Chiefs could ever get a 3rd for Gonzalaz and a 3rd for LJ it would be a great day.

Not his fault? Nobody forced him to sign with the Chiefs again. I dont feel sorry for him one bit.

That sucks

shaneo69 03-24-2009 08:55 PM

Oh this is a new thread? I just thought someone dredged up a thread from one of his six previous trade demands.

SBK 03-24-2009 09:01 PM

If we end up drafting a QB (doubtful) then I want him to stay. Otherwise, well, bye.

beavis 03-24-2009 09:01 PM

Tony, LJ, Waters, and a case of Natty to the Lions for #1.
