How old is she ROFL? |
It's a fun song. I could've written it, though. It's not like he's trying to be a serious rapper.

Joining a frat was one of the best thing I've done in college. While my social network through them has all but disappeared these days, it was quiet valuable immediately after graduation in finding a job and having connections in cities where you didn't know anyone. And just ****ing amazing while in school. There are douche bags in frats, no doubt in the world, but if you choose an at least somewhat respectable one it will enrich your college experience and help you after graduation. I would recommend to anyone finding a happy medium between the honors fraternity and the infamous Delta Chi of "Animal House" when venturing off to a big school. I wouldn't change that decision for anything in the world. Machi BTW |
The Greek Life here is terrible...I've heard it is awesome at other universities...but we mostly make fun of all the homos that are in frats around here. The parties are god awful...in less you like a party full of little Asian dudes walking around with their shirts off.

The song is just so he can cash in on his particular audience. Funny though that the guy has ringing endorsement's from some of the top people in the business, including Jay-Z. I like the guy as well.."You know the world's gone mad when black people wear plaid and Mariah Carey marries Nick Cannon"

The great thing about being in a fraternity in watching that video is noting that:
1) There was a keg. That's usually a ticket to chapter suspension if you ever get caught. 2) There was no guest list. Not FIPG kosher. 3) Minors were not marked as such, unless you want me to believe that all those in the "party" are over 21. 4) Where's sobersquad? That's just begging for trouble. This is just supposing this video were representative of frat parties. In my case, it's not, because of how much deep shit we would get in to. Asher Roth's vid is, however, representative of the current youth culture in general. But it's fraternities who get the rap of engaging in this sort of behavior, when anymore four kids from Bible-Thumper U who are dumb enough to get caught on their campus while intoxicated and claim they were served alcohol by our fraternity is reason enough to throw away our president and risk management officer in jail. Which, in my humble opinion, is bullshit. |
