I see we have the 2nd pick in the 4th round, with the Sowboys picking first.

Cook just got taken.

Duke Robinson OL from Oklahoma or James Casey the TE from Rice or Macho Harris DB from VT

Ultra Peanut 04-26-2009 09:52 AM

Robinson, Meredith, Coffman, Ellerbe, and Beckwith would all be interesting, defensible picks.

Mr. Krab 04-26-2009 09:52 AM

OG duke robinson from OU
C Shipley from Penn State
WR Iglesias from OU
TE Coffman from MU
CB Moore from Vandy

i
m hoping ellerbe drops to the 5th....unlikely, but hey

cross posting myself:

if we get a starter at OL this draft becomes a solid B at worst just based on the first 4 picks....

starters at QB, LB, OL, and DE

Yeah. Ideally, you'd keep gambling with either of the LBs I mentioned.

smittysbar 04-26-2009 09:56 AM

coffman

milkman 04-26-2009 09:58 AM

I'd rather have Shawn Nelson than Coffman if we go TE.

Agreed.
I think I was expecting at least one trade down tho. That's why I'm not a drafturbator though.

I'm still suprised that the Duke is still there. He's basically a steal right now.

To be clear, I like Topou far more than most.

I'm actually a fan of this guy too. I noticed him when I was watching Unger, the kid could definitely solidify the right side. The guy is just nasty.

He reminds me of Herb Taylor athletically, with a liitle more size, and as you mentioned, a nasty streak.

D.J. Moore, 5-10/183

Cornerback

Vanderbilt
</td> </tr> </tbody></table>

<center> D.J. Moore's Scouting Report
By Matt McGuire

</center> Strengths: High level of athleticism ... Great body control ... Nice vertical ... Good muscle definition ... Flips hips quickly ... Instinctive player who anticipates ... Great ball skills ... Good awareness in zone and understands his role ... Productive ... Versatile on special teams; can return punts ... Leader who improves level of play around him ... Confident ... Great fit for Tampa 2 teams.

Weaknesses: Questionable speed and doesn't look to have the burst to recover if beaten deep ... Below average height ... Not an ideal fit in press man schemes ... Could be more physical ... Needs to refine wrap-up tackling technique ... Needs to do a better job of getting a jam at the LOS.

Summary: Moore has a very good skill set, and a lot of his question marks are correctable with better coaching at the next level, but they remain weaknesses. Interviews are key for Moore and teams need to see if he really loves the game.

Player Comparison: Terrence McGee. McGee is great in zone coverage for Buffalo, and he is an athletic corner that makes plays on the ball. Both are a little undersized.
