Unless something goes wrong. Russian roulette is probably fun too.

i did static line twice, then did a tandem jump from 14,000 feet. that was about a 60 or 90 second free-fall, forget which one but it was great.

See Skip this is why you have a thread with a POLL saying you lost your burst.

We were 13,500ft up and it was 60 seconds. Felt longer though. I jumped AFTER the gf and somehow landed before her. She must have been just cruising with the shoot out.

i forgot to "pop" my ears on the way down like when you scuba dive, and that was painful. did you experience that?

If you keep asking for death you'll probably get it.

Me and the wife are now discussing this. I figure if I ask her if she wants to try this and she says no. Then I'll have a better chance of asking for anal.

Cause then anal might not seem so bad after being asked to jump out of a plane!

Something could go wrong on my way to work Monday morning. But I'm still planning to go to work....

Besides I'd rather die doing something exhilarating than lying around safe dying of nothing....

Of course they do. It's because a bajillion more people ride in cars. Good reasoning on your part.

when i did my first static-line jump, there were some "PROs" jumping ahead of us and we just sat back and watched at the landing site. our instructor was explaining to us how the so-called pros get bored with just normal landings, so they get fancy. the fad maneuver at the time was coming in to land but swinging up and swooping down over the ground at high speeds, so they're actually moving horizontally just 2 feet off the ground really fast for about a hundred feet.
well, some guy angled wrong and the wind caught him off guard. he slammed right into the grass, we felt the thump 100yds away. everyone freaked out but with some help he was able to walk over and sit against a wall by us. now that's asking for death. gave us a good lesson on taking it seriously though.

I froze up for a second, the guy was like alright joe you need to loosen up a bit. But once you submit to the fall and get your breathing under control its the best feeling in the world. I didnt anticipate how LOUD it was while free falling, just never crossed my mind.

I did this a couple of years ago. A Christmas present from my wife. It was great fun!

The thing that surprised me more than the noise was the wind when they opened the door. It just hadn't occurred to me until then that we were cruising forward at whatever speed so there would be a wind going by.

Congrats on one of the greatest rushes of your life! :thumb:
