Agressive doesn't necessarily mean slow-developing plays. You don't have to have 7-step drops, deep routes or play action to attack.
I wouldn't be surprised if this offense looked a lot like the early 2000s with a lot of running, a lot of screens and draws and maybe more slants or other quick YAC routes. Take better advantage of Bowe's ability to catch in traffic, take advantage of Charles' speed. Try to keep defenses off balance.
I think there were positive signs last game, even with Cassel on the training table. They got the running game going in a fairly big way, and there were open passes. It just happened that Thigpen couldn't hit the broad side of a barn.
Trick, of course, will be to not get Cassel hurt two minutes into his next game so Thigpen won't be in there playing drive killer. Hopefully that will turn out to be a fluke injury in more ways than one.
