This honestly wouldnt shock me at all. This roster will likely add a few players next week.

Croyle.

When he gets hurt, Gutierrez. Seems like he at least goes through his reads.

3rd option - Thigpen. That guy just flat out can't pass.

Alphaman 09-04-2009 06:57 AM

Croyle. Thigpen is horrible. Croyle needs to learn some touch on passes over the top, but he's got a good arm and throws a nice pass. We'll need to do some boots and rollouts to buy him time as well as alot of screens to offset the heavy pass rush.

I don't expect Thigpen to be on the roster after Saturday.

I think Cassel isn't as hurt as everyone thinks. Haley won't give anything away to the Raisins, but if Cassel can't go, Croyle should be out there. Then, when Croyle gets bent in half, Gutierrez should get a look. At least both Croyle and Guts stepped up in the pocket when pressured. Sometimes I wonder whats going on in Thigs brain.

Remember the good ol days when the Chiefs offensive line and T-Rich made Ray Ray whine??? That made my day.

Maybe, but how would we ever convince Seattle to let us borrow him for the weekend? Besides, I hear Curry can't hit the deep out route.

I heard Tavaris Jackson is available.

Chiefnj2 09-04-2009 09:32 AM

If Cassel is out, it has to be Croyle. Haley better call a game that doesn't call for him to hold onto the ball for more than a 3 step drop.

I just realized I wrote Thigpen, when I meant Croyle. Thigpen shouldn't be on the 53 man roster.

Lumpy 09-04-2009 09:34 AM

It's a shame we can't put them both at the line, snap 2 balls, and hope for the best.

MahiMike 09-04-2009 09:37 AM

Time to see what Croyle can do with the 1st team. Good luck!

CaliforniaChief 09-04-2009 09:41 AM

Brodie without a doubt. You can't look at it from a viewpoint of fear. You have to put your best guy out there.

So, Cassel if he's healthy. Then Brodie. Then Gutierrez. Then Colquitt.

Broncofan7 09-04-2009 10:14 AM

Len Dawson.

RealSNR 09-04-2009 10:28 AM

I don't get why people are like, "but Croyle might get injured..."

So ****ing what? If he gets injured then you put in his backup. Until then, though, you put in the best healthy QB on the roster, which is Croyle.

Who knows. Maybe he'll survive the game. Stranger things have happened.
