When it comes to the back up receivers, there seems to be considerably more upside to keeping Lawrence. I didn't see Ashley out there returning kicks and punts.

I'm sure Lelie could of sucked up the joint as a returner, like copper and lawrence, if that makes you feel better.

I'm sure that will make Cassel feel better when he can't find anyone open because copper and lawrence suck shit.

I dont think we have seen the end of moves.

I know tey like Copper because he plays special teams well....at least that what Looney says

Lawrence has potential. When he actually caught the ball, good things happened.

Copper is a special teams standout.

Other than that there appears to be little reason. I would wager a large amount of money we don't enter the regular season with five receivers.

A wide receiver that can't catch is worthless.

A special teams standout how? As a returner? A gunner? I don't know that i ever saw him do anything on special teams.

Copper wasn't brought in here to take pressure off of Bowe. He was brought in here to be a decent gunner and to block in 4 WR formations.

I applaud keeping him around over Lelie.

He's a rookie. Come on. Give him a chance. Clearly P&H are.

When you goal for keep a receiver around is just blocking and special teams from day 1. :shake:
