They need to sell 20,000 seats?

Good ****ing luck.

The Chargers only needed to sell 2500, and yesterday sold a grand total of 50.

Where did you get 20,000?

It's about 1200 seats tied to the PSL thing

I guess for some reason I read the above statement as they needed to sell 18K standing room seats and 1,200 reserved seats.

I would love it, but I doubt jerry jones lets it happen.

Jones cares a hell of lot more about selling seats than who can see the game from the comfort of their own home. If this game gets blacked out then it will be that much easier to sell tickets for the next one.

It's their own fault for pricing games right out of the ability of common people to go see them.

As a Red Sox fan, there's nothing I enjoyed more than all those camera shots of the new Yankees ballpark for the first half of the season, with most of the seats behind home plate empty.

i wish they were blacked out nationwide, since they are on national television about 14 times a year.

Nope, they'll likely have 100,000 - 110,000 people at the game. The "party pass" is not a seat, it's something you buy for $29 and gives you access to any of the platform/concourse areas on the various levels of the stadium.

They will sell them for 'selected' games. The blackout rules say X number of certain types of tickets have to be sold, so that's where the 1200 PSL seats come into play.
