It's a bit of both depending upon what game you were watching, against the Eagles they were overmatched. They looked like a FBS team trying to play Florida out there.

Funny how the Saints didn't seem to have any problems with the Eagles blitzing or defense when they hung close to 50 points on them last week.

This is a sign the Chiefs were out-schemed on offense.

Saints have always had a very quick timing oriented passing game. chiefs not so much....

You are acting like we realistically had a shot to do what Drew Brees, someone in the same system for the last 4 years, and had the same talent to do the same amount of damage.

Some of you bitch, just to bitch.

This offense was not moving the ball against that defense. It was a horrid matchup from the opening whistle.

I'm surprised the oncoming rushers couldn't get the snap before it reached Cassel's hands. I'm not sure how you idiots think that they were supposed to run some flowery Coryell offense when he had rushers on him before his drop was finished.

Detecting and picking up blitzes isn't all on the offensive line.

Well we know a few things:

1. This isn't the scheme Haley would like to run. See Arizona next year.

2. Haley thinks Cassel can run the preferred scheme. It would be hard to believe Pioli brought Cassel here over Haley's objection.

3. Haley doesn't run his preferred scheme with an QB he deems acceptable because the rest of the personnel are unsuitable. That won't change this year.

4. That doesn't give Haley and Cassel a free pass this year, but it does lower expectations if you are going to be at all realistic.

Common sense is unwelcome here.
