Just watch it - especially in the 1st half when we're trying to get something going. A quicker, more -decisive back would have had 3 times as many yards as LJ. I don't expect GoChiefs to agree with any of this. Hell, he was typing his response before he even read the post.
All it takes to see a difference is when Savage or Charles are in. Granted, our OL sucks. All the more reason to go a different direction/change of pace. |

I have seen LJ hit the line and immediately curl into a ball more times these past 3 weeks than I can recall watching ANY rb over the course of an entire season. Unless he has a hole 4 feet wide, 95% of the time he makes ZERO effort to move the ball up field and instead tips over on to his back. His feet stop moving. *cue the insults |

This running back is not done. http://i38.tinypic.com/2e5umad.gif |
Anyone saying LJ is done is an idiot. The guy is getting hit in the backfield on about half the plays he gets the ball. His quickness to the hole is fine and he still breaks plenty of tackles. The problem is the line simply is not even allow LJ to get to the first level to find a seam, much less the second level. When a back is getting tackled for a 6 yard loss and he's not Barry sanders that's the lines fault.

And this guy, MahiMike, was telling us all how the Chiefs were going to beat the Eagles all last week. |

This isn't 1992. It's 2009. If the Chiefs win a single game this year, I'll be pleased as punch. But it won't be against an NFC East juggernaut. |
