I think your opinion is based in emotion and not fact.

Denver is a very good football team. A YOUNG football team.

It's quite obvious that they're going to be good for a very, very long time.

We'll see... things are going well, but I want to see what happens when this team gets kicked and can't get back up. How do they respond? They're going to lose games... it's a matter of when at this point, so I'm prepared for reality... I hope they are and I hope when it happens, they respond accordingly.

Making Denver the worst 6-0 team of all-time

Damn - I forgot about the SI cover... wow, they avoided the jinx.

Yeah, it must suck to be "the worst undefeated team".

It couldn't compete with the spell you guys must have cast on Brady. Pretty amazing that you guys are the only team he has a losing record against.

This was my first thought. Who are we kidding? Cincinatti who is 4-1, New England, and Dallas. Sure they played the Browns and Raiders, but this team has beaten 2 teams considered top contenders in their conference and probably the most surprising team of the year in the Bengals.

It's time to quit talking shit. I don't like it any more than any of you but Denver is for real. They could compete for the Super Bowl this year.

I think that's a stretch, but not by much. I know there's a whole chicken and egg effect when it comes to discussions like this, but neither New England nor Dallas looks like a legit contender this year. I still think Denver will struggle against teams like the Giants and Colts. I predict Denver makes the playoffs, but loses their first game. But, you never know when they might get a couple of lucky bounces, so their making it to the big game isn't out of the realm of possibility.

I'm more worried about their long-term prospects honestly. They're young and improving. They could be scary in the next 5 years. Dammit.

I'll bet the call in radio shows in Denver are just littered with negative overtones today because they quite possibly are the worst 5-0 team in the NFL.

Ok...so they're probably not the worst in history, but I'd call them the worst undefeated team left this season. There are a lot of 1 loss teams I'd take over them. They have 2 legit wins against horrible opponents and their other 3 are come from behind luck-outs. This is just my opinion, but I doubt I'm in the minority.

LOL at your bullshit.

Hog's Gone Fishin 10-12-2009 11:44 AM

I think we should just move on and start saying the Raiders suck.

Donger 10-12-2009 11:45 AM

I guess the consolation is that the Chiefs are irrefutably the best team that hasn't won a game yet.

Huh? The year the Chiefs went 13-3? Are you sure you watched that season?

That Patriots are 15-2 all-time in Denver. Heck..John Elway was 16-0 against no matter where they played. Brady's fiarst game against was a 4 int masterpiece of domination.
