seems a little harsh to me. but coming from a nazi organization like the NCAA I guess I'm not too surprised.

SDChiefs 10-28-2009 05:21 PM

This is why I don't like NCAA sports. They are so screwed up right down to their playoff system. Or lack there of. Its all about money. Same as the NFL. Only difference is the NFL admits it and the NCAA says its all about the kids. Bullshit. They are jokes.

The Chiefs shouldn't be drafting him because if you want a WR you should be waiting till the year after.

He doesn't compare to that class.

Well, he lied to investigators. There should be a severe penalty for that.

Yea, the NCAA is so pure. I mean, they "do it all for the kids".

Bugeater 10-28-2009 07:41 PM

But it's fine for boosters to rent a house for Reggie Bush's family.

I'm curious, because we haven't really talked much draft yet, but what do you think of Bryant?

I think he's terribly overrated.

JohninGpt 10-28-2009 08:22 PM

They should give him a break, he's an Okie, we're not real smart.

sparkky 10-28-2009 08:33 PM

don't get me started.

they get special tutors for some "Golf Tee-ology" or "Theory of Football Lacing" class to make passing grades and then a "college diploma" at the end. Lots of those damn corner crack dealers can't balance a freakin' checkbook. they couldn't walk in a bank without some one pressing the alarm button and screaming "it's a hold up!!!!"

all the while some kid that would give his eye teeth for a chance at an education can't get the time of day. usually he's the wrong color and gender.

ya, it's all about the kids alright.

Not really a fan, he's naturally gifted but it takes more than that. He has some flags that concern me, he gets by on being talented.

His route running is suspect, he's from the spread etc etc, he may be great one day but he's by no means ready to go on day one.

Honestly, most rookie WR arent ready to go on day one. Route running is a concern, but has good hands, size/speed combo(though he probably plays faster than he times). Top WR in a weak class. Should be a mid to late 1st rounder. Be interesting to see him at the combine.

I don't think he'll be ready to contribute for a long time he's extremely raw.

Damian Williams is much more ready.

There's nothing wrong with Williams. Not as physical of a player as Bryant. Bryant is more talented, Williams a better route runner.
