Too many rules

Is this a spinoff from the "HOWMUCHYOUBENCH?" thread?

either way, it has douchiness built in, so I'll play along...

I don't go to the gym. I have freeweight dumbells sitting in my closet which have gone untouched for two years. I also have THE PERFECT PUSHUP which, after trying for four days are gathering dust alongside said dumbells.

I cancelled my gym membership three years ago and bought a Connandale road bike for $2400.

Back in college when i was racing I'd go for 4 hour rides and all I'd think about for the last hour of the ride was what I was gonna eat when i got back.

This was my favorite thing to make:

Whole wheat tortilla with steamed broccoli and salsa and rinsed cottage cheese. Sometimes I'd add drained tuna if we had it in the house.

It was good.

On occasion I'd make whole wheat pancakes and fold like a taco and put in rinsed cottage cheese and pour no-sugar maple syrup in there. That was kinda gross, but I loved it for its grossness. It made me feel more hardcore.

I used to lift weights when i was 18. I had a friend whose dad was a bodybuilder. We worked out and tanned and did all that stoopid shallow shit. We juiced for one 8-week cycle. We ate 5000 calories a day and worked out 3 hours a day five days a week. I weighed 205 and benched 315. Leg pressed 675. I finally realized what we were doing was dumb as shit and stopped. That was about one year's time. then I got into triathlon and college. Was better for it.

Eat what you want. I recommend IN-N-OUT burger once in a while. It is damn good!

So does this mean we aren't having a second annual biggest loser contest? I mean In-n-out burger? :)

This was just supposed to be a way to hold ourselves accountable and give ourselves a pat on the back when we work towards our goals.

No one wants to be a fat slob, yet there are many running around... errr.... riding around on three wheeeled electric scooters.

I don't begrudge fat people. They just need to know that it is a choice. If they choose to be fat... fine.... but it is a choice.

Anyways, if it is a stupid thread, then I am sure it will die... and I appologize for wasting anyones time. I am just pumped about getting in shape, and as I see my strength increase, and my bodyfat decrease... I just want to encourage others to do likewise.

te one night i got back from vball and my gf was already at her prents for the holidays. i had a bowl of pretzels, two granola bars, a small personal pizza, a regular soda, a diet soda, a glass of water, and a glass of chocolate milk (i didnt want to waste the milk since id be leaving the apartment the next day for turkey day vacation). lets just say that i was in pain because i ate so much and then i took two full-sized craps the next day. at least i burned more than 500 cals at the gym that night...

Whyyyy when I was your age I used to carry 100lb blocks of ice up 3 or 4 flights of stairs.

I didn't go to the gym, and I just brought back a dozen doughnuts for the family to indulge in. Had 2 cake doughnuts, and am trying to judge whether or not I can cram an old fashioned sour cream down my gullet yet or not.

I think its like 360 every 45 min. But, now its getting cold so i dont go play as much. Im 205 right now. My goal is to be 150 by summer.

You keep it up. This is a great thread. I apologize that I didn't even read the whole post. I was a bit tipsy. Being healthy rules.

Knocked back a protein shake (2 scoops of ON Whey with water) then went and played a soccer match this morning.

Not sure if I'll be eating for the rest of the day. My stomach is ****ing killing me. Gilbert's Syndrome FTL.

SenselessChiefsFan 11-29-2009 02:04 PM

Sunday is my free day. I don't go to the gym, and I don't really watch what I eat too much.

I had a protein shake and banana for breakfast. For lunch, I had a bag of baked lays, and half of a medium firehouse sub. I also had a cherry limeade.

I have had 20 cashews as a snack.

Silock 11-29-2009 03:01 PM

Stomach calmed down, so I made breakfast:

3.7 oz shaved turkey breast
6 egg whites
2 cups spinach
1 onion
1 roma tomato
2 stalk celery
1 tsp olive oil

400 cals, 53.8g protein, 8.6g fat, 38.3g carbs

At least, that's what I made. Not sure if I can eat all of it. Doesn't sound like it, but it makes a LOT of food. Completely filled up the skillet.

I dislike free days. I find that I can wipe out an entire week's worth of calorie deficit in one day.
