That way he can't be wrong but can claim he was right

Bowser 12-27-2009 11:31 PM

There's a 50-50 chance of him being wrong 200% of the time.

Any sources more interesting than others?

I can't take credit for that take. I heard that somewhere and thought that made sense.

That's probably the best argument one could make for Haley returning. ;)

Pioli has said MANY times that he feels the coach should be the face of the franchise.

He doesn't give a shit about being the "man in town," IMO.

If that's true, why didn't he just stay as the GM in NE? Why come to a losing organization if he doesn't want to run the show himself?

I don't know. I hope you're right.

I see amateur night was a huge hit

Yes, one was "the source" but only as what they heard, not as first hand knowledge. So thats why I've not posted it as fact from "the source". Just more evidence that there is smoke and a lot of people are seeing the smoke, but there is as of yet no sightings of a fire. Could just be BS, and the same rumors getting repeated in different crowds.

Mecca 12-27-2009 11:37 PM

If he wants the coach to be the face he probably shouldn't have picked a guy who looks like he's on a 3 day bender all the time.

Because he wasn't the GM in NE.

That is a good thing. We can only pray Cowher is our next HC.

Thig Lyfe 12-27-2009 11:41 PM

They also mentioned the flip-off incident again.

dirk digler 12-27-2009 11:42 PM

It doesn't inspire alot of confidence if the new GM fires his first hire after 1 year so I don't think Haley has much to worry about.
