Several compaines are developing the next kindle. Bigger screen versions like a hard cover book. USB enabled to download new books on. Real thin and lightweight. All for under $199.00. first one to market might own it?

Advertising expenses, R&D expenses, and market penetration are all going to be issues for anyone that tries to move into the Kindle's market space.

Along the tech lines, I'd say Apple. Their I-tablet (or whatever it is going to be called) could be as big as the I-Touch.
