He was not better than Drew Brees. Yet nobody is talking about him.

I don't know if it's one of his better seasons, but it's certainly one of everyone else's better seasons.

For those arguing for Favre, he's arguably not even the MVP of his team.

DrRyan 01-08-2010 05:22 PM

Take Favre off the Vikings and where are they? Still in the playoffs like last year.

Take Peyton off the Colts and where are they? Drafting a handful of spots later than the Chiefs this year.

Thats true. But for Peyton he was not the same player as he has been in the past. He does not prove worthy of getting that award over Favre, Brees, or even Aaron Rodgers.

So who is then? It's not Peterson. Jared Allen? I don't think so.

Both Peterson and Allen could be considered the MVP of the Vikings.

That doesn't ****ing matter. Just because you're stats go down from the previous years doesn't mean that you don't deserve the MVP.

Brett Favre is not the Vikings.
Peyton Manning IS the Colts.

I would almost put a bet on Sidney Rice.

LMAO not even close! I mean, maybe, maybe Allen. But Peterson puked all over himself this season. He fumbled when it mattered most, and had a difficult time breaking 100 rushing yards after his week 1 game vs Cleveland.

I'd narrow that list down to Manning and Brees. My choice would be Manning, but I couldn't argue if it were Brees.

That wouldn't have anything to do with Captain Audible......

And who made Sidney Rice? Brett Favre did. Rice would not be in the pro bowl this season if it wasn't for Favre. This is a terrible arguement. Go ask Rice himself and he would tell you the exact same thing.
