mushrooms are probably the best veg to grill - whole button - get crispy and smoky on the outside while staying juicy inside

cauliflower is great too (marinate it in olive oil and siracha)...but i've never tried to skewer it, takes on a nutty flavor, tastes great burnt on the outside

pineapple is great on skewers too

I think you have the veggies covered....might want to throw in a canned chunk of pineapple once in a while.

This this this, pineapple is amazing off of the grill.

I'm not big on pineapple with meat, but this is actually pure awesomeness.

Marinated artichoke hearts, FTW.

I can't believe nobody mentioned lamb to use for a kebab on Easter.


A red pepper or saffron hummus would go nicely as a dipping sauce.

Hard to get decent lamb in this town.

Still feeling the effects of that Austin lamb embargo of 2009, huh?...

The more meat, the better

Had some kebabs last night. Awesome. Chicken, peppers, onions and pineapple. Along with stuffed jalapenos - cream cheese/yogurt stuffing, while wrapped in bacon. Absolutely unbelievable.
