Depends. What's in it? I've never bought the variety pack, but I may have tried some of what would be in it.

Boston Lager, Old Fezziwig Ale, Winter Lager, Holiday Porter, Black Lager, and Cranberry Lambic. I haven't tried them all, but will soon enough. It seems like a good enough variation to try.

That Winter Variety Pack is very popular with the East Coast beer scene. Some people think that Old Fezziwig, Holiday Porter and Cream Stout are the best beers that Sam Adams makes (I disagree but Cream Stout and Old Fezziwig are super-popular. And I'm including Cream Stout because it has classically been included in that variety pack).

Boston Lager is in the Summer variety, too.

For some reason, I just can't get into Sam Adams beers. Don't get me wrong - I enjoy them - but I think I've been tainted by living here in Beer Country that Sam Adams seems more like a domestic brewer who produces crafts than a craft brewer. Kind of like Blue Moon.

I'll have one on occasion, but mostly when it's about the only craft beer on tap.

Heh. See the above. I just can't get into beers made by the domestic breweries trying to fake it.
