But for the record:

I think it's important for the coaches to have the four games to do a proper evaluation on some of the players who are question-marks.
So, I can't see sacrificing those games for an 18-total regular season even though I wish football was played year-round.

I believe the NFLPA won't go for this since the extra two games will add up and shorten players careers.

he stilll doesn't know, now the starters don play preseason

theyll just ask for more money...it could work out BETTER for the players. more games to be played and PAID between the start of the season and free agency/the draft A.K.A player replacement period

I remember when there were six preseason games. Times change.

But if and when the 18 game season becomes reality, with maybe an extra bye week:

Week One will be in mid-to-late August, and that kinda blows.

Or, that Meadowlands SB will be no big deal because it'll be nearly spring.
