Honestly, if I am a KU fan, I would just hope recruits don't jump ship if you guys have an abysmal season this year. Being last in the Big 12 isn't going to sit well with recruits who signed up when Mangino and Co. were on national TV.

I have nothing against Turner Gill (in fact, I like him as a coach quite a bit), but I think people took for granted what Mangino did for football at this school.
