After the last few seasons 6+ wins and a defense would be nice.

The Chargers average margin of victory last year was 11.23 points. The Chargers average games ahead of the 2nd place team in the division over the last 4 years is 3.5 games (thats including one year when they went 8-8 and so did the Broncos). |

The only reason the Chargers aren't looked at like the 90's Bills.....well......they choke WAY before the SB... |

And yes, they only won by 1 point against the Chiefs, but that was in their 8-8 season. It was a down year, yet they still made it to the playoffs and beat the Colts. You expect them to win EVERY game by 10 points? |

I expect them to step on their d!cks every single year like they have for the last 15... |

look at it like this: it's a QB-driven league. if you have a pro-bowl QB with weapons, you SHOULD go deep into the playoffs ever year. we haven't had that QB since my dad was still a teenager (early 70's). he's now 53 years old. there is NO reason that they chargers suck as much ass as they do. in a weak division, with an all-world QB, you should be NO LESS THAN 12-4 every damned year. that you don't is the definition of choking. |

11-5 (2-1) 8-8 (1-1) 13-3 (0-1) Whatever dude. You could take a look at us and say that we will always choke in the playoffs, or you could look at history and see other teams that were in the same situation as us and actually won a Super Bowl later. Just because we've choked in the past doesn't mean it will happen this year. You can't write history before it happens. Anything could happen this year. Thats why you play the games. |
