This idea that you can find a way to win with a sub par player at any position is just an excuse for bad talent acquisition. It's why Martyball ticked me off so much ... why handcuff yourself voluntarily?

Agree completely. He's still better than our other current options though, and I wouldn't have wanted to try to take a QB in the draft this year anyways, so he'll do for now.

I reckon it's a good sign that he's had a turn around in attitude and outlook concerning the team, coaches, and management. Still, I thought most trench warriors prefer to remain quiet, and let their play do the talking.

The biggest thing I saw from Waters that suggested a change in attitude was the ref pulling him off of some San Doucher player while Waters was trying to tear his head off.

I would have never thought that Waters would do that. Not that I condone figfhting, but I thought it was outstanding that Waters was showing some intensity.

Winning has a way of doing that...

I remember when Waters was used as an example of how Haley and Pioli didn't know how to treat players and were going to lose the team etc.....

Good to see players that are willing to say it. It won't make Bowe happy, but too bad.

Yea I don't see anything goofy there.

Brock 10-02-2010 11:24 AM

Me either.

Often, I see goofy where others don't. It's a curse.

I see it. It's very subtle. If Gochiefs can zoom in on Cassel and Vrabel, you'd see it.

Chiefshrink 10-02-2010 11:37 AM

Just shows that Babb is OK with mediocrity at best.

You aren't watching it with an agenda.

The are left front center of the frame. I don't think you would see anything if it were 'zoomed' in.

Chiefshrink 10-02-2010 11:50 AM

I saw it and I think Vrabel's body language of ignoring Cassel say's it all to Cassel which said

"I never liked you from the beginning in NE and I don't like you now, you still played like sh** tonight and we still won". If you want my respect which I doubt you will get start hitting the recievers and at least appear to be earning the 63 mil".
