Bill Maas sucks, i still remember when i was younger he was supposed to come to our local hyvee to sign autographs, needless to say he no showed a few chiefs cheerleaders were there instead. I was pissed at the time, but didn't realize he did all of us a favor.

Petro pretty much said earlier that Cassel is at best Delhomme and he isnt a franchise QB

He can't be that much of a Cassel apologist because I heard him saying that he was confident that the Chiefs coaching staff knows that Brodie Croyle is the best QB on the roster.

It's strange to me that there are those who continue to support Mark Casswipe's play on the field. It seems as though some people have an agenda that really doesn't involve stuff like completed passes, first downs, or scores.

Although I initially thought that NE employed an impressive marketing tactic by franchising the guy, the 2nd we used on him didn't seem overly expensive at the time, and they didn't spend my money on him or break the cap bank with his contract, so I was okay with that. In short, I was more than willing to give him every opportunity to convert me into a fan.

He's done just the opposite, though. His play is so bad ... so scared ... so inept ... so slow ... so devastatingly awful ... that I don't see how anyone could continue to support him. Yet, he gets a pass ... from many in the local media, from the coaches (apparently), and from many among the Chiefs kingdom. I don't get it.

I am sure Bill would agree that some of it is on the running backs, they do the best with what they got to work with.

Just like Matt.

I don't share your love for LJ (at all), but I think there's some truth to the idea that the offensive line is probably around average and that the coaching is covering up for it to some extent. If they were really a good offensive line, we'd occasionally line up and power forward for a yard in short yardage situations, but they don't really ever do that. For example, last week on the 4th down play that they rushed into after first having their punt team in the game. On that play, they run a tricky sweep rather than just lining up and bulldozing some people.

showed up and i couldnt figure out why him and his women used the bathroom 3 times each in an hour.

This really goes to prove that some players have the muscles but zero brains.

It's true, just go back and watch the games you will see that they get big runs when the LBs are in pass coverage. When they need to get the hard yards they have to pass the ball or run it around the end. That's NOT and great running game, running it over your face is.

except no linebackers are really in pass coverage because Matt ****ing Cassel is the qb. NO one is scared of him. so whydrop everyone back? makes no sense. Gameplan to beat the Chiefs is stop the run.

Have you seen our gameplan.Weiss doesnt even trust Cassel. If he did, he wouldnt have said, i need to fix the QB. he would have said, i need to make the offense better.

With WRs like Bo what do you expect?

Plus what you said is bullshit and you know it.

I bet you think the forward pass is just a phase.

KCbroncoHATER 10-11-2010 03:39 PM

No but if we are trying to bring back Marty ball we need a short yardage running game.

Play defense and run the ball.

I think bringing back Martyball is the furthest thing from Haley's mind. He's just working with what he's got this year.

He even got the addiction cliche wrong. He was talking about how if you are around sober people you remain sober like the way BOWE was around Larry Fitzgerold made him better during camp. This is exactly the opposite I ever heard at my many addiction meetings, being you around sober people makes you as sober as sitting in a garage makes you a car. ****ing idiot.
