I keep hearing TM was very injury prone in College, what exactly do we do if that becomes a habit in his pro career? Do we just rely on Pope?

Gonzales is gone, brah. First off, he requested the trade. Secondly, he's not the mentoring type and he's very much "all about Tony". It's just a bad mix, and Pioli won't have it I guarantee you.

I'd bring him in.

The guy still knows tricks on top of tricks. He could teach Moeaki a ton.

And let's not go crazy with TM just yet, either. Remember - the question was never his talent, it was his durability. Having TG as a backup to Moeaki would sure be a nice security blanket.

And think about the twin TE sets we could roll out there. Both guys are capable blockers and have sure hands. We could do a lot of things out of that set; put McCluster as the HB w/ the potential to swing him out wide in a throwing type set (with him starting in the backfield as the occasional running threat). Send him on a wheel route with Bowe running a deep dig route and Moeaki/TG running the seams. Or stick with Jones/Charles back there and simply run out of the set (or send Charles on the wheel). There's a ton of versatility there because of the unique skills offered by both TG and TM.

Let's not be jilted lovers here - TG would help this team and help it quite a bit. He'd be able to get separation from a wheel chair because of how well he runs routes and how good he is at using his body as a shield. Have him teach Moeaki while also adding another wrinkle to the offense and we'd be foolish not to give him a look.

I'd like to bring back Johnnie Johnson to teach Bowe a thing or two about the worm, mma, and butt sex.

TG and TM at TE, McCluster, Charles and Jones all in the backfield, no WR to be seen. :)

Honestly - if they came out in the single wing, I'd nut.

TM - BA - BW - CW - RL - BR - TG
-----------------------------------DMC
--------------Cassel
-------------------Jones
----------Charles

That would be freakin' nasty.

I agree, and don't want to disrespect his accomplishments as a Chief. For a long time, he was the man.

But, towards the end, it was about him and his records, and about him getting a chance with a contender.

That is not the team attitude they are trying to build here.

Sorry, sign him the day before you retire him.
