Goddammit.

Part of me loves this because I'm sick of all the Favre drama.

I know I feel the same way but you gots to admire the spunk of someone playing with a broken ankle. I really gave some props to Phillip Rivers for playing with a torn up knee and playing damn well. But my admiration of their toughness doesn't mean I admire them as people or even players.

No shit? I honestly thought he was milking it last night. If he has a broken ankle, that's pretty crazy he finished that game.

I thought the same thing at the time.

I am guessing this guy will end up, not being able to wipe his own butt when he is 60.

Another part hates it because Percy Harvin has been great the past few weeks for my fantasy team, and this destroys his value, while increasing Peterson's.

**** this guy right in his Croc wearing, small wang picture snapping ass.

All of you should hate this. Get ready to hear how tough Brett Favre is

The guy has played in close to 300 consecutive games at the QB position.

Love him or hate him, I think he's earned being called "tough."

That's why he was waving off the trainers, I am sure they would have figured it out. THe guy wants to play the game big time for sure and is not just there to pick up a check. YOu may not like some things about the guy but you got to respect that. The vast majority would have limped to the sidelines and called it a season.

Yeah I can agree with that, but IMO had he retired as a Packer before all of that drama bullshit started they'd have statues built in tribute to him all over the friggin place.

ReynardMuldrake 10-25-2010 02:15 PM

Just retire 3-4 more times and be done with it.

He has been playing strictly for his own ego for years. If it was about money, he had many better opportunities to grab it.

Actually I am already tired of people stoning the guy. He ****ed up and I have no idea what he is like as a person aside from that. I'll say this much, he was a gamer and has been a lot of fun to watch.

Very true, but, when does it become apparent that you are hurting your team by continuing to play with an injury like that? That should be the biggest concern for a team player.
