Yep.

There's one team in this league that usually picks up guys like this, and it's Daniel Snyder's team.

I'd imagine that at least 10 teams will claim him and he'll obviously go to the team with the worst record.

I think every AFC East team will claim him and maybe even every NFC East team, if for no other reason than to block him from joining a rival in a tight race.

I could even see a team that doesn't need him at all claiming him and making him inactive each.

And yes, the Chiefs should absolutely claim him, if for no other reason that if he goes unclaimed (which is absurdly unlikely), he could sign with a division rival or potential playoff opponent.

No way does he clear waivers.

I really wanted "In a van down by the river." to be one of the choices.

Yup. In a way, it's kind of weird and cool that the Chiefs have no shot at him.

Question: What's the tiebreakers for waiver spots? Chiefs are T2 for record, but what spot in line are they?

kstater 11-01-2010 05:50 PM

Another thought: Why didn't the Vikings try to trade him? Other than sheer incompetence?

Agreed. If they think we MIGHT want him, they'll claim him.

I don't know the tiebreakers, but the poll is in order according to ESPN.

kstater 11-01-2010 05:52 PM

There's 0 chance the Pats get him back. They're last in line.
