Really, I am not a Cassel fan, but he didnt, and is not playing that poorly!(besides some ill advised sacks(get rid of the dang ball!)). I place it on the "D", and the coaching staff on both sides of the ball, not being prepared for what the Broncos threw at them. Unfortunate!:(

He's part of it, yes. When we needed him to put together a few throws to stop the bleeding, he "tried" to throw it deep a few times. His stats don't count at all because they only came after the game was 3 tds away from us. The defense lost this game, but Cassel let it go from a bad beating to a rout.

I was calling for Croyle weeks ago. He's not the future any more than Cassel is, but he's way more talented and would be able to utilize Charles, Jones, Moeaki and Bowe in such a way that SUSTAINS DRIVES and SCORES POINTS (when the points still matter).

Somebody needs to put a bounty on Cassel's knee.
