That has nothing to do with the competition.

OMG! Competition is not just only winning the physical part of the game but it is the mental side of being totally "RAZOR FOCUSED" so you don't have "pre-snap" penalties, so you can score more pts, so you don't allow your lesser opponent to staaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay in the game.

You can run up all the stats you want but when the score is only 10-6 then there usually is a big problem and that problem today was NOT the physical side of competition but the lack of mental focus of competition which lacked today for the Chiefs, PERIOD!!

Hi.

Shut the **** up and drink antifreeze. kthxbye

Your ****ing team won today. They won against a team that they'd already lost to. They won after turning the ball over twice near the end zone. They won to go to 8-4, which 99.9% of Chiefs fans would've frantically beat off to if they were told that in August. They might have a two-game lead in their division with four to go. And you're ****ing complaining that they didn't look like the '85 Bears while winning. SHUT. THE. ****. UP.

The only thing that stopped the Chiefs was the Chiefs, not the Broncos.

You make my point:thumb: The Chiefs stopped themselves today lacking mental discipline.

It's obvious you need to get back on your medications and you are definitely not the right profile that fits the "Right 53" type of fan for this team to improve.

So you go and be satisfied with mediocrity while the rest of us strive to be the best we can be, OK:shrug: Hell we weren't even mediocre today(except for Carr and Colquitt) so that really should have pleased you, uh:rolleyes:

Yes, but that doesn't mean they played down to the level of their competition.

The running game and passing game worked about as they normally do. The defense gave up rushing yards but was otherwise stout.

The lesson to be learned today was get your ass on the line of scrimmage and stay there until the snap.

Sure it does! Being competitive in physical spirit doesn't always translate to being just as mentally competitive because the score was only 10-6!!!!!

Why was that Gif? Because the Chiefs weren't mentally sharp today. If they(Chiefs O) were mentally competitive(avoiding mental mistakes-ala not lining up correctly as you say correctly) there game stats that you reeled off would match the so-called appropriate score they "should have" attained today.

That means they played down to just above the level of their competition to barely win although the stats really don't say that. However, Knowmo did have a career day on us:shake:

Thank goodness he does not have "breakaway speed" because the score of this game had Knowmo had this ability with the way the Chiefs O played today the score very well could have been 20-10 Broncos. Because there were 2 runs of his that should have been TDs had he the ability of JC:shake:.

Played down to the competition? Nope.

Withered in the face of adversity? Yes. After that choke job on the goal line and McCluster's run being called back, the offense started gripping hard. The play calling became uninspired, the O-line started laying down, and Cassel started Casseling his pants.

This team doesn't have the grit yet IMO. They should have never lost site of the fact that they were whipping Denver's ass. Instead you could see the pressure crushing them simply because a bad ending to an awesome drive.

Huge difference.

Many of them didn't actually exist.

Bowes OPI, and Coppers hold were BS calls at best.

BTW the OPI canceled out Bowes streak of games with a catch.

Crennel was smart "not stacking the box" today allowing Moreno to get his yds because he knows that Moreno doesn't have JC type speed to take it to the house. Knowing this and also having McGraw back in the line up to provide for wiser better safety play against the pass which is Denver's "bread and butter" allowed Carr to have his "shut down" day. Crennel played it smart and didn't get sucked in to stuffing the run at all cost knowing his D-line and pass rush is mediocre at best:thumb:

It is clear that McKid's overhaul of this Broncos team has failed miserably reducing the talent level so much so that when the opponent has a Murphy's law type of game that provided soooooooo many opportunities both offensively and defensively to capitalize on but CAN"T means a change needs to occur.

We tried giving this game away but the Broncos rejected it even more than we wanted to give it so I will take this ugly win.

The Broncos, Raiders and Bolts could all be rebuilding and they would all play the Chiefs tough. When we play in our division we have to understand that the games are gonna be close no matter how much better we are then them or vice verses. When we play in the division throw out the records because they mean nothing. I will take this win becasue they are hard to come by when we play in our division. Saying that I still think we play better and look better against the Bolts, It doesnt guarantee a win but we will play better.
