You can run up all the stats you want but when the score is only 10-6 then there usually is a big problem and that problem today was NOT the physical side of competition but the lack of mental focus of competition which lacked today for the Chiefs, PERIOD!! |

Shut the **** up and drink antifreeze. kthxbye Your ****ing team won today. They won against a team that they'd already lost to. They won after turning the ball over twice near the end zone. They won to go to 8-4, which 99.9% of Chiefs fans would've frantically beat off to if they were told that in August. They might have a two-game lead in their division with four to go. And you're ****ing complaining that they didn't look like the '85 Bears while winning. SHUT. THE. ****. UP. |

So you go and be satisfied with mediocrity while the rest of us strive to be the best we can be, OK:shrug: Hell we weren't even mediocre today(except for Carr and Colquitt) so that really should have pleased you, uh:rolleyes: |

The running game and passing game worked about as they normally do. The defense gave up rushing yards but was otherwise stout. The lesson to be learned today was get your ass on the line of scrimmage and stay there until the snap. |
What this thread needs is the input of someone with experience in psychology specifically in the realm of athletics.

Why was that Gif? Because the Chiefs weren't mentally sharp today. If they(Chiefs O) were mentally competitive(avoiding mental mistakes-ala not lining up correctly as you say correctly) there game stats that you reeled off would match the so-called appropriate score they "should have" attained today. That means they played down to just above the level of their competition to barely win although the stats really don't say that. However, Knowmo did have a career day on us:shake: Thank goodness he does not have "breakaway speed" because the score of this game had Knowmo had this ability with the way the Chiefs O played today the score very well could have been 20-10 Broncos. Because there were 2 runs of his that should have been TDs had he the ability of JC:shake:. |

Played down to the competition? Nope.
Withered in the face of adversity? Yes. After that choke job on the goal line and McCluster's run being called back, the offense started gripping hard. The play calling became uninspired, the O-line started laying down, and Cassel started Casseling his pants. This team doesn't have the grit yet IMO. They should have never lost site of the fact that they were whipping Denver's ass. Instead you could see the pressure crushing them simply because a bad ending to an awesome drive. |

Bowes OPI, and Coppers hold were BS calls at best. BTW the OPI canceled out Bowes streak of games with a catch. |
Shrink, how many of your patients have avoided suicide to complain about your stupidity?
