I loved it.

I went there for a nerd convention and was amazed how well the locals/staff treated us.

There's a Japanese place me and Misplaced ate at that was great. Probably the 3rd best meal of my life. Can't remember the name but it was right there around the major hotels, about one or two blocks north...

I noticed after I posted the link that FMB is from Alabama so he might already have lots of options for cajun seafood.

I've been to the ones in Atlanta and Chicago. Both were outstanding, at least to someone from the upper midwest.

I having trouble seeing the logic, unless you stayed in 'The Swats'

the drive through STL and KC = pink houses w/ debris off of i70 and the shit industry w/ rusty buildings and empty beer-bottles.

the drive through Atl = clean 6-lane 'well lit' freeways, no trash on the roads, or minimal. NEWER construction. Yeah, shitty town.
