Sigh.. What is with all the old school comedians sucking ass now..

I'm all for a stupid Adam Sandler comedy. I enjoy them for what they are. Hell, I even enjoyed Grown Ups.

But that looks like a steaming pile of shit.

Someone at AVClub observed that we the people are in the season of repayment for laughing at those Halloween episodes of Weekend Update where Sandler stuck a Big Gulp on his head and yelled "lookit me, I'm Big Gulp head!!! NOW GIVE ME SOME CANDY!!"

Agreed. I love most sandler flicks, but that looks horrible. The most pathetic part is that al Pacino has Been reduced to this?

SNL comedians seem to burn hot for awhile, then fizzle & crank out crap. Murray, Aykroyd & Martin did alright taking serious rolls later on. I have no idea why Eddie Murphy still gets work

for every 5 bad movies Eddie Murphy makes one good movie case in point his part in Dreamgirls.

Adam Sandler should fire his agent, or maybe he has and that's the problem.....

I can't remember his last movie that was actually funny.

Eddie Murphy made a lot of $ from the Shrek movies.

Sandler's movies have made like $300 billion. It's not like this movie is going to ruin his career, it's just easy money for him.

Yep...hes actually one of the most consistent stars out there. His movies nearly always make money and "open". Whatever you think of him, not many comedians have had a successful run for as long as he has.....16 years or so.

It is interesting to see this. In the movie Funny People which I liked (but a lot of people didn't) he openly mocked his own participation in movies like this.
