baseball is such a boring sport that the moves, the almost moves and the rumors are more interesting than the play on the field. especially for Royals fans.

eh? Seriously? RS are pounding out 10 runs a game lately. Hell, Wake gives up a Grand Slam yesterday and the Sox still win by 4 runs.

If you're doing reverse mojo, then that's fine, but yeah, Sox should take at least 2 out of these 3 from the Royals.

Seriously, I feel badly for all fans of the 20 or so teams that aren't playing on a level playing field. Baseball's economics suck and are completely unfair, and it's a damned shame. It detracts from the satisfaction of having a great team or winning the WS, in my opinion, when more than half the rest of the league are crippled by salary limitations.

I remember a few years ago when the Yankees INFIELD (Jeter, A-Rod, Giambi and whoever at 2nd, Soriano maybe), was paid more than the ENTIRE Tampa Bay Devil Rays team. Ridiculous. And the Red Sox payroll is always 2nd or 3rd in the league.
