It's well documented that Nebraska was always the lone voice of dissent in the Big 12. They always thought they were getting screwed and were a vocal minority (of one) that was never pleased. I have little doubt that they wanted to get out from underneath the UT thumb, but don't think leaving had much to do with their inability to beat them on the field. Hell, they're not even going to come close to competing in the Big 10.

Their fans are an insufferable collection of delusional whiners. I'm honestly glad to see them go.
